Shannon Han supports partners with vaccine market data and analysis. With a focus on data visualizations to inform global health decision-making, she manages intelligence on regional outbreak vaccine markets, collecting key market data, identifying market risks and mitigation strategies, and supporting market-shaping interventions in the public interest. She’s a contributor to the Global Vaccine Market Model (GVMM) and project manager of the Linksbridge Global Health Markets Hub, a market intelligence platform offering GVMM data as a global public good. Shannon has also partnered with WHO’s Expanded Special Project for Elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases (ESPEN) in a technical assistance project, supporting monitoring and evaluation and building capacity in data and analytics. In addition, she supports the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s China office in analyzing Chinese vaccine markets.
Shannon earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Wake Forest University and an MPH at the Yale School of Public Health. She was a Social Venture Fellow at Save the Children, a maternal and child health intern at WHO, and an International Committee of the Red Cross intern in Beijing. She’s an author of an article published in Maternal & Child Nutrition.
