Mari Couasnon supports global, regional, and country partners across a variety of project areas including technical assistance, project management, and strategy development. Backed by a decade of experience in global health and epidemiology, her portfolio includes technical assistance to countries adopting a cross-program health campaign tool informing collaboration, integration, and planning; the development and maintenance of health campaign tools and resources for global-level partners; supporting WHO’s Expanded Special Project for Elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases (ESPEN) in developing tools, frameworks, and data platforms for prioritization and resource mobilization; developing interactive instructional materials for polio and AFP surveillance trainings; providing strategic support to large multilateral agencies, funds, and partnerships within the global health ecosystem; and facilitating leadership meetings for UN-system agencies and partners.
Prior to joining Linksbridge, Mari worked with a variety of academic laboratory research teams on projects related to human microbiomes and infectious diseases. She also supported clinical research and global health advocacy work as part of the Child Health Division at Save the Children. Mari earned her Master of Public Health degree in global health epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and holds a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Syracuse University.
