Heather Ferguson leads Linksbridge and supports the team’s efforts to partner with clients to improve human lives. As the executive director of an employee-owned social purpose corporation, she’s responsible for a strategic vision centered on impact, integrity, inclusivity, and intentionality.
Heather’s global health work over the past decade has included extensive collaborations with partners at the global and the country levels. She’s designed and facilitated multiple international convenings focused on bringing innovative methods of training and learning to immunization programs in low-income countries. Additionally, she developed standardized surveillance training protocols that were adopted by the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI), and she assisted in the development of multiple GPEI strategies: among them, The Polio Endgame Strategy 2019-2023 and the Polio Post-Certification Strategy. Heather also created the world’s first cross-cutting health campaigns data calendar, an intelligence platform used by partners at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Gavi, the Measles & Rubella Initiative (M&RI), UNICEF, and WHO to improve coordination and to assess the impact of campaign-based delivery of health commodities globally.
Heather earned a bachelor’s in biology from Whitman College, an MPH from the Yale School of Public Health, and holds a black belt in mixed martial arts.
