Dena Pittman supports partners on global health market shaping, strategy development, stakeholder management, and market data. With a career-long devotion to improving equitable access to health products, she’s collaborated with partners such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Gavi, The Global Fund, UNICEF, and WHO, including as lead of the Market Ecosystem Thought Leadership (META) initiative, a  field-building project that led to the inaugural Global Health Market Shaping (GHMS) Conference in 2024.

Since joining Linksbridge in 2017, Dena has specialized in generating global health market insights and analytics. She served as the demand forecasting lead for the Covid-19 Vaccine Global Market Assessment consortium. Additionally, she was an engagement lead for WHO’s Market Information for Access to Vaccines (MI4A) initiative and was responsible for market data efforts for targeted regional outbreak vaccines. She’s also supported global health partners’ market shaping strategies across product classes, including drugs, devices, diagnostics, and vaccines. Prior to coming to Linksbridge, she was a data manager for clinical trials for global health products.  

Dena holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on biostatistics and epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s in international studies from the University of Washington. She’s presented on the topic of marketing shaping at academic and professional speaking engagements at Duke University, the Medicines for All Institute, Unitaid, and elsewhere.
