Aline Benson supports global, regional, and country-level partners to drive data-informed decision-making in health campaigns and neglected tropical diseases. She collaborates with partners at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, WHO-HQ, UNICEF, WHO AFRO, Gavi, the Health Campaign Effectiveness Coalition, and country ministries of health. Aline leads the data and analytics team for the Health Campaigns Intelligence Hub, a cross-program campaign database that informs global, regional, and country stakeholder campaign collaboration and integration decision-making. Prior to joining Linksbridge, Aline served as a fellow at the CDC Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention, creating technical assistance resources for HIV/AIDS providers in the US. She served as a Healthy Youth Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho from 2015 to 2017, providing sexual reproductive health and HIV/AIDS education to youth and adults. Aline holds a bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology from Appalachian State University and a Master of Public Health with a focus in global health from Emory University. While obtaining her master’s, she worked on HIV clinical trials, supported a clinic for women and children experiencing homelessness in Atlanta, and analyzed the HIV care continuum outcomes at one of the largest HIV outpatient clinics in the US.
