Project Hekima

Linksbridge provided strategic direction and guidance to NetHope’s Disaster Response initiative on a project that could dramatically change the team’s approach to sustainably funding its emergency response work around the world.

NetHope’s mission is to act as a catalyst for collaboration, bringing together the knowledge and power of 39 leading international humanitarian organizations so that the best information communication technology and practices can be used to serve people in the developing world. NetHope and its member organizations began coordinating emergency response efforts with the 2003 earthquake in Bam, Iran; the organization has helped facilitate information and communications technology in disaster scenarios ever since.

Linksbridge lent strategy expertise and advisory support to NetHope’s Emergency Response initiative, creating and recommending a business case and model for a potentially groundbreaking new funding model which aims to effectively connect data scientists, NGOs, and large, complex data sets in meaningful and affordable ways.
